China's carbon fiber industry is experiencing a period of explosive expansion in production capacity!

Data shows that in 2023, China's operating carbon fiber production capacity reached 140,800 tons, an increase of 25.7% over the previous year, approaching half of the global carbon fiber production capacity. However, since 2023, the supply and demand relationship in China's carbon fiber industry has undergone a 180-degree turn.

Especially against the backdrop of the vigorous development of the downstream sector, a large number of capital and enterprises have flooded into the carbon fiber industry, with investment enthusiasm remaining high and production capacity significantly increasing. According to the data, the supply of carbon fiber in China reached 45,000 tons in 2022, increasing by 55.17% year-on-year. As of June 2023, the total production capacity of domestic carbon fiber producers reached 117,000 tons, a significant increase compared to the end of 2021.
